The darkness slowly folds its forsaken arms around me.
Tears cascade down my face,
Every drop burning my tender skin like acid rain.
The emptiness that you see in my eyes,
Grows more by the second,
And the agonizing ache in my heart subsided,
But only for a mere second
The feeling of worthlessness takes over
The meaningful smile on my face vanishes… into sweet nothings
The sound of silence runs through my heart and soul
The essence of who I was destroyed,
My hopes, dreams and wishes shattered,
My only comfort the emptiness that lies concealed inside.
The acid of my tears burning my face
And blood pouring out my veins
This is the only way …
