While nothing else is constant
One permanent factor
In my usual insanity
Giving me security
Throughout the years
High is the price you demand
But I willingly give it
For I became fond of you
My loyal companion
Elusive moments of safety
You gave me
I am sure our ways
Are to cross hereafter...
Though, forgive me
When I admit
My anticipation consists
Of mixed feelings
For I never know
The vehemence
With which you embrace me,
I am left unaware of
When you are leaving
Or where you are taking me
Nevertheless I enjoy
The familiar melancholy
You convey...
And I am sure it
Won't be long
Before I find myself
under your spell
Once more
My ever-present temptation
My faithful fellow
My false sense of security
My dear friend
Sadness

I loved this, I so definately can relate, not with the sadness applied so much as I do a sweeter affection for a friend but, you have done a wonder job on this piece no matter what emotion you were writing about.
