The Winter Bishop

cruelty nods the winter bishop
flailing from a parotid
there lies each calming rain
entrenched in vorpal handshakes

"called such divinely sinners
we're forbade to cause monsoons
or cleverly absolve the ataraxic clouds
who so sincerely...cry and swoon
where each junker blends or balances
the puddle of his work
a sound of coy-filled rapture ties
each fleeing vein and smirk"

Pouncing in a miraculous delirium
from confessional wall to
glossalia laden statue
the smell of tongues
and fried martyr tusks
fills each powerless moment
with profoundly hollow murmurs
the progression of rattling laughter
the session of unbridled terror
the winter bishop flees
by the lapels of his cassock
leaving hobbling trail
of shell and rosary behind

"The bells are towing lesions
by drivel toting scores
on collapsing spines the gizzards perch
and feed on the rapturous spores
Were we crying when our suns left
and felt wind upon our bone
did our eyes burst molten sugar bombs
from the emptiness of home?"

So nods the winter bishop
on fallow fields he burns
through English verbatim
until each letter is sculpted
into nonsensical tongue allegory
so lives the winter bishop
far from nervosa
and lip numbing faith

wow. This is incredible. You're such an amazing writer and so talented. I'm jealous of your muse and your vocabulary. I even had to use a dictionary on a few of these words
Wonderful write and thanks for entering.

I'm positively green with envy at the moment

(I've always fancied the word 'nonsensical')
