crashing tears swell from sad eyes
thunderous fears ring out from goodbye

vibrating doors of your sheltered heart
quivering life, shattered apart

dimming the lights on memories bliss
fading to colorless, empty abyss

eyes search for flickers of light to grab onto
blurred visions make blindness a kin to you

deep is the empty that loss caves inside
uneasy void that grows deeper with time

a best friend or lover, spirits that roam
yet some spirit's lost, try to cope all alone

locked away in self made pity
hurts to much to tell any another
