freshly fallen snow
crystalline gems from heaven
purity in form

Author notes
Kappa: symbol in Greek for purity. My name is Kathleen from the Greek & Hebrew & it means pure one, & in Irish pure & unsullied, 'dear to my heart'. When I see the meaning in Irish I think of it meaning 'dear to His heart' & in that case it must be purity again 'cause that's the only way to be dear to His heart! Thanks for this contest! I was surprised when I saw it.
Freshly fallen snowflakes are as about as pure a form as I can conceive. Such delicate intricate frozen patterns, no two alike, all mini sculptures by the Creator!

This poem I liked the best, you must be phychic. Snow is my most favorite thing in the world. It's white and it's cold. I like the cold, and I've always be fasinated by all the different shapes snowflakes can come in. Thanks for writting a wonderful haiku.

A'Chaitlin,
A sweet piece of work. Perhaps it suffers a little from the fact that the reader can pause at the end of each line; there should be more flow from 1 to 2, or from 2 to 3. But it does its job!
