What is rape?...
Rape is atrocious.
Rape is nothing less,
Then what we'd call ferocious.
It's something that is,
Extremely toxic.
And it seems like,
This world just can't knock it.
Rape is everywhere,
It has no limitations.
Many get away with doing it,
Despite the allogations.
Rape is NOT acceptable,
Rape is NOT okay.
Rape is the act that has,
Ruined my EVERY day.
It stalks me like a creeper,
It drowns me in the night.
It's the only thing that seems,
To cause me such a fright.
It doesn't go away,
It doesn't take a break.
It disturbs me ever so deeply,
And it makes my soul ache.
I want to feel better,
I want to escape this pain.
I want to get rid of the rapes,
That have made me go insane.

I was raped as a kid, as a teenager, and as an adult. It's undesrcibable really.

This is very powerful and sadly I can relate to this piece. This was well structured, good rhyme. Some of seemed forced, but an emotional piece can sometimes seem that way, especially if you have to take breaks in your writing. For me this was an astounding piece. Just remember, once you feel you have hit the bottom there is only one way to go. And that is back up.

did this really happen? if so, we have more in common. once by some dude and a lot by the person i was with for 10 years. i know that it never goes away...the feeling from such a thing. i could go a lot more into this, but not comfortable where everyone could see it. any way, i know its harder said then done, but stay strong....people like us can make it through. i love how you bring attention to such a serious matter...something that needs to always be spokin about, people warned about, and a better system to put the pervs away.
