The suffocating form of darkness
Grabs me from the inside
Sinking into my anxiety
Sweat cold and salty
Rushes beneath the skin
The figures gather
In the cloak of night
Infared betrays my thoughts
Seeking me from the light
My spirit is the trees
Ancient, damaged
Blind to my once human thoughts
A deformed shell of death
I wait for soul's blood
I wait for the sweet flow of release
In a list

This is very creepy. It makes me think of walking alone at night, feeling like being watched and followed. Very well done. Thanks for entering and good luck!
