Trying to fly
To get past the night
I know I'm better than this
I just need to figure out this mess
My life needs to change
From darkness to light
I've got to get away
Away from this life
I want to be good
I know that I should
But yet I am tempted
Will this ever be ended
I've come to my conclusion
This is no illusion
I can't change my life
So I'll stay in the night

Excellent take on the picture
! I really liked how you took this & ran with it. You left me feeling sad! A lot of emotion in this. I really like the words that you used to express it, one thing is that it broke up in a few places. My favorite line(s) is this: "I've come to my conclusion This is no illusion" Life is hard so I can relate to this on a level than just the picture. Thank you for entering & good luck in the contest!
