Once upon a time,
not so long ago,
There was a fair princess,
but her prince didn't show.
And all across the land,
up went the cry,
"Isn't there a man out there,
one who's not too shy?"
And so the candidates came,
all in one line,
But none of them seemed to suit,
none of them seemed to shine!
Out of the mist one stepped,
and perfect he did seem,
She'd never seen his face before,
or an eye with so much gleam.
This must be her prince charming,
the one from the fairy tales,
The one that would steal her heart,
and lock it in a gaol.
