Lets Check It Out

As a child their mind so curious indeed,
I still have that childs mind inside of me.
Forever wanting to check things out and often ask why,
of all the wonders right before my eyes.

What makes the mesquite been curl all up,
this I saw one summer and seeing it wasn't enough.
I asked around for the old timers would know,
and they replied they need more water the drought made them roll.

To explore is so facinating for the young or old you see,
no reason in this world to ever get bored you can always take the leed.
Look about you and there is wisdom untold,
just waiting for the adventurer to break the code.

Millions of insects are about us each day,
living in the trees and the grass and the air they say.
Even raindrops holds bugs we can't see with the naked eyes,
Im sure there are even critters in the tears when  we cry.

Take this adventure and learn the ways of the world,
how things are created be it boy or girl.
Explore and you shall find life in so many shapes,
so many you could not see them all in your lifetime they say.

If our eyes were like a microscope we would scream with fear,
of the mites and the living germs that are everywhere my dear.
Alone we are not so lets check it out,
and find out what life is and what it's all about.

Author notes

The microscope every child should have one to explore with to see just how clean their place of living should be for the naked eyes cant see the living quarters of a mite though he sleeps with you every night.

Truly we are not alone in this world...if we would just explore we would discover that our world and our life is truly beautiful...this is a good reminder to all of us to be always a 'child full of wonders'

Great job here, a great poem depicting how we are surrounded by so much that we can't see with the naked eye. I too think a child should have a microscope. It would open a whole new world for them.
