Tumbling into heights unknown
from boundless crafts-airborne.
Signature devices chart my path
but then again, I deviate, I laugh.
Worn from the constant pull and push.
Disheveled, then again on foot.
Not a moment to spare, at any rate;
for the flow flows narrow, straight.
Dropped like a magnet is drawn.
Into the bosom of relative ease.
Peace befriends me with its tongue.
Arms of escapism expands my lungs.
Now its my time to rumble, to refresh.
To acquaint myself with infinity's best.
To fathom, respond, anchor, sing my song;
this is the 'pause' for which I have longed.

This one reads so smoothly read aloud, I admire that in poetry. The second stanza is wonderfully penned and my favorite. Lovely

What a light and airy read. Took my breath away with its beautiful words. Rythm was right on!
Now its my time to rumble, to refresh.
To acquaint myself with infinity's best.
To fathom, respond, anchor, sing my song;
this is the 'pause' for which I have longed.
Beautiful! Good luck in the contest! -

This is penned out so nicely, and it's subject is an easy one to relate to! It's amazing what taking a little extra time to 'breathe' can do for you. Loved that second to last stanza, especially. Nice job and good luck in the contest!
