Well, you've had another birthday
and all I've got to say,
I hope it was a happy one
and you enjoyed your day.
P.N. we have a lot in common;
Vietnam is one for sure,
and we could share some stories
of all that we endured.
But Vietnam is history.
It's embellished in our past.
Our lives have moved ahead,
but the memories still last.
So, now's a time for happiness,
my A.P. Texan friend.
Yes, another year has passed;
Here's some things I recommend.
Take the time to do some fishing
and spend some time outdoors.
This is the time to just relax;
Retirement is yours.
Admire the pretty ladies
when they catch your eye.
Backside in motion, sparks emotion;
My Oh My Oh My!
I guess all I'm trying to say
is just enjoy the things you do.
From one old soldier to another--

This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I do several times~ Images come to me in many forms~ while taking in Your words: Backside in motion, sparks emotion...
I could not help but chuckle
when I read that part I kept hearing whistles
I can't help but recall that Arby's commercial when the construction workers are not fazed by the pretty women walking by but the businessman carrying an Arby's meal- they hooted and hollered Love how You penned from within with well wishes to bring forth a smile
I imagine P.N. smiling from ear to ear after inhaling Your verse, also a brought a tight rhyme
