I pull the switch with a wince, following simple prayer.
It has been four years since, and tensions in the air.
Yet you may think that I sink, or I am such a brat.
My party’s more than unaffiliated. I’m a Theocrat.
Think as you must, I won’t twitch. I’m sure of His solution.
While I will pull that switch, He keeps His constitution.

Excellent piece, we should not align ourselves with either party, but with God. Is Republicrat a party? LOL

Everyone needs to vote, and they need to vote the bible. We need the Lord and His righteousness to be in our leaders as much as possible. I refuse to vote outside of His word. A great rhyming form. Thank you for entering.

If the vote you refer to is to align ourself with His will, I would agree. Hopefully we realize Christianity is not a democracy. Jesus is Lord despite what we may choose to vote. Hence this write.
