Your power & love fill me in inexpressible ways,
I feel Your presence all of my days
I know that You see & feel all that occurs,
even when overwhelmed & all seems a blur
You are my strong tower, my Rock & my shield,
it’s to You daily I need yield
When I forget Your direction & strength,
it’s then I falter & feel so in debt
You’ve given me all I need to survive,
You’ve given Your Son, in You I’m alive
Your Spirit within, guiding, giving light,
with me through all, ‘til I pass from this life
I know if I endure, as You said I must,
I’ll rise up to meet The Savior I trust
If I’m alive when He comes in clouds,
I’ll rise with my family singing aloud!

thank you for this lovely prayer-filled testimony. Word for word, line by line, and stanza by stanza it provides comfort. You mention the realities of life, as well as where we can derive our comfort. You mention the here and that which is to come. I was wondering if there should not be another 'to' in the 2nd line of the 2nd stanza: "it’s to You daily I know I need yield" [your choice]. I have enjoyed this poem very much [as always with your other writes]. Thank you for entering my competition. I would have missed an entry from you. Be blessed. Frans

Yes indeed for I have taken him with me along within my entire life and he guides me daily to love all about me and in turn feel the love I have earned
