If I were a flower . . . I wonder what you'd see
A forget-me-not because you never forgot me
A daisy a simple country girl
A violet timid and afraid
A honey suckle sweet nectar deep inside
A rose a symbol of love long over used
when I came to you I was so nervous
so scared I wanted to run and hide
but you took me by the hand a pulled me close to you
when our lips met my blood began to flow
I felt myself begin to open my heart, myself to you
Like a flower who with the dawn, when the sun begins to shine
it's petals unfurl revealing the soft, tender inside...
When I looked into your eyes as you held me in your arms
I knew you saw more than anyone had ever seen in me
As you beheld my body
little by little revealed
Something changed within me
I began to see me through your eyes
and no longer did I want to hide
With confidence I felt beautiful, exotic, and sexy
From your smile I think you too saw me bloom
When everything was stripped away
an orchid was what you held

Rhonda this is very beautiful. Often people don't see what hides inside the soul of another...either they choose not to see, or pretend to not know...sometimes they just don't know how to love correctly...I know when a man can see the beauty of a womans heart and all she is capable of giving...then he will have a beautiful flower...if nurtured correctly...it will bloom into something far more beautiful than most have these days...just always believe
congrats to you on the Hm ...blessings always ~ Trisha~
