Good night Wolf

Now it is night,
my animal hormone may aroused again
and leave me in sadness
likewise a lonely wolf

Now welcome, wolf,
although you are not the one
I am waiting for ...
but you seems understand me

Cruel love may make us
understand that animal has
the feeling of love
that we need to care them not to kill them

No more killing animals just
for fun...
deer hunter, bird hunter
they are the real cruel animal

Good night wolf

    wow

Your right the cruel hunter, Kills and he is the creul animal. Myself don't like hunting, and wish the cruel hunter would not kill our animals. A pleasure to read.

The subject of hunting as a sport is a very controversial one, very often loaded with extreme and narrow opinion leaning either way and rarely meeting in a middle understanding.

I much liked the connectedness you were making in the first two stanzas but then I lost any strength in where you were going with it.
I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, or that it works very well.
I believe the intention was towards a respect for animals, which is great, but then it becomes narrowed and weak.

After all a wolf is a 'deer hunter' and a hawk can be a 'bird hunter' and I wouldn't categorise them as simply cruel creatures, in fact I think them beautiful. Man also has always had the ability to hunt and also to understand its place in a very practical context, most likely aiding him in his appreciation and respect for its nature shown in other creatures.

Personally I think it comes down to the spirit of intention behind the act. There is no doubt that man is indeed capable of being extremely cruel in his ignorance but as an example, there is a big difference in land management and provision to hunting creatures into extinction or simply getting his warped 'jollies' on blood letting.

I'm afraid that for me, I find it sadly without any teeth which I hope may yet be found.

AND however... thanks for your entry, which I do applaud to the max. on the first 2 and 3/4 stanzas, which expresses an empathy I much like and admire.

    Sol

You couldn't be further from the truth
It is the hunters who take care of the wildlife
It is the waiting in the cold that leads to self examination and the need to preserve the wild places. Realizing that you are a part of nature too. Why is it cruel for me to collect my meat, but not cruel for the wolf to collect his?

    So true

I would so love to see the sport they call hunting banned and let live what animals we have remaining for it is so sad that people could get enjoyment of killing for no other reason than bragging rights and a trophy of their cruelty .

Thank you for sharing this lovely poem of death and love of animals. They are precious as we are, to enjoy in their natural habitat. Love the wild animals.I am lonewolf, perhaps not the one you were waiting for. lol.
