Birthdays and Funerals

Birthdays and Funerals are remarkably similar:

You wear your best clothes,
celebrate life
and everyone gives you a card.

Someone cried at your birth,
somebody will cry at your funeral.

You think back to 'the good old days',
when things were easy and say things like
"I remember when..."

The biggest similarity between
Birthdays and Funerals is
everybody has one birth-day and a funeral.
You are present at both.

VERY true and VERY smart!
Clever as all going! Everybody gets born and everybody dies and it's a pain coming and going. Very fine irony, good poet person!
