Shadowed by dreams of colorless pain
searching for shades of gray
Darkness comes, shielding all light
surrounded by a cloud of dismay
Depression sets in, weaving its wand
as doorways become obscure
Blinded by envy, feeling alone
How much can one endure?
I look at you, you glow within
bewitching to all you meet
Left to walk, one step behind
I’m chasing a rainbow’s deceit
You say you care, are they empty words?
When deceptions an intentional game
My wings are broken and bringing me down,
falling into these shades of shame
Painted on a canvas, crisp and white
brushed with broken beats
A smeared creation, disguised to all
my reality of personal defeat

Rythm
This has movement and ryhtm which I like and as in your other works you have a style that I can follow and really enjoy. In fact your work is sexy even when perhaps its not meant to be.

"Painted on a canvas, that’s crisp and white"
I might change it to..
"Painted on canvas, crisp and white"
