Irony (not a poem)

The English spoken in Britain and the English spoken in America.

In England, if you step OFF the pavement you get run over by a lorry.

In America, if you step ONTO the pavement you get hit by a truck.

    depends on who's driving....(kidding)
But seriously I just saw a woman on the evening news that pulled out of her driveway, slammed the gass and wound up half way up and into her neighbors house...
I like the irony, just not on my tv news... Excellent and ironic comparison.

    OH MY GOSH...

This is jolly well true! How astute of you, good poet person. I thought about it and it went right into my brain.

And you have restored my faith in Americans. Over here America is referred to as "the irony-free zone"!
