I could write a ballad
About my summer salad
And what it means to me
Radish, tomato, greens
Sweet peppers, tuna , beans
Taste bud ecstasy
And of course the blessing
Of a gourmet dressing
Greatly enhancing my glee
I could write a ballad
Which surely would be valid
Salad is my malady.
