As the leaves turn from green to gold
Before the winter winds turn cold
Trip to the mountain get-get-away
Cozy farm house with time to play
Campfires, boating, game of shuffleboard
Cell phones, laptop, TV we ignore
Family style suppers plenty of chatter
Nothing fancy, together is what matters
Leaving is always bitter sweet
Memories on a cold winter night our treat

Well written poet. I do wonder however at the mention of winter in the last line?

Very "cool" memory. Good luck in the contest.
