All you have to do is wait...
wait for that one moment, no matter when it comes...
It could be a second, or a minute, even a day, week, month, or year; or maybe even a century.
He couldn't keep on waiting, no matter how much he knew...that in his mind this one man would come back.
Whether it was love at first sight; no matter how cliché.
Or even if it was just a moment of utter silence, when two lips touch.
Yet, such sweet beckoning never goes unnoticed...
He did come back...five years too late to some people.
He had not hurt himself...nor admitted to defeat.
This boys disarming smile would be his downfall to what seemed to be, for the umpteenth time, what he was waiting for.
His body was sprawled on the bed (among the chaotic mess of the sheets, clothes and pillows that surrounded near him); in only hope it would soon be over with.
He had no bounds, nothing would stop this man from taking his own prize.
Maybe he had just waited too long, what if just...
Capitulated.
His body would be thrashed into like a rag doll.
Immobilized.
His body would be thrashed into...violently, like a rag doll.
Repel.
Well, his body would be thrashed into...violently, negligently, just like the rag doll he was becoming.
But, he still waited.
Green eyes not moving from the window.
Glued to the rain.
Glued to the image in his brain.
Yet, he still waited.
Not be affright for what would happen.
It has been five years...
and he still reminded as innocent, as tranquil; as impatient.
Alas, he still waited.
...and in time he came.
