Blackberry phones
hum

as we drink the last dregs
from the bottom
of a vanilla latte.

Just a little piece I came up with yesterday on the first day of my very first poetry class.
The words she asked us to use were blackberry, vanilla, bottom, airy, and scissors. Any feedback is welcome.
