With banjo strings of blue perched in her shoulder,
painted beneath stars, was the firmament's color
bent elbows as nimble as wind, sparkling with gold,
the sun spent beams like yarn for the world to behold
fingers pricked chord like thistle of a red rose,
forming scented ribbons and flowered bows
hushed like clean linen hung in autumn whispers,
stillness sprang lilac sighs and cat-tail whiskers
clutched palms grasp carpets of envy beneath baby steps,
pampering youthful dreams woven in tomorrow's depth
tangerine blushes, sipped from trees of joy fermented,
intoxicating seeds of true love with forever intended
tear drops ran like mint, from heaven's rainbow eye,
as she lifted serenity, to all who dare stop by
