They say red whispers of passion
and that yellow is for friendship
but when combined to make orange
was then that I found true loves grip
You speak with lovers lips
"If you swear to never leave,
then with slight apprehension
I will wear heart on my sleeve."
I gently whimper on a warm shoulder
as salty tears seap out
knowing orange is forever
never again will I have to fear
A Lovers Drought
for I found you
at the end of my spiritual rainbow
