We take breaks
mini breaks
maxi breaks
breaks just because.
We decline this ordeal
cater to that one
totally bypass
all the others.
We allocate dirty work
to those
we feel will do it.
We matter of factly
routinely, and without question
symbolize the 'elite'
Our nose cringes
(sometimes falling plain off)
via via dirty jobs.
Some have jumped off buildings
at the contemplation
of being broke.
Our disdain for the tasteless
is apparent.
His was apparent too
as He sweat-ed out bullets of blood
at the thought of His cross...
yet, He still did it.
And, this same Jesus
invites us to take up our crosses.
Apparently, He knows what the result
of this would be.
