The days are rolling into one
But I still want to shine so brightly
Above me all the stars jive in hope
that one day it will make sense to someone
Sometimes it seems I am just a passenger
Holding on to the dashboad for dear life
I sit in wonder and for the final time pray
that today will be the day I understand
Until today I needed affirmation
of every action I attempted to complete
I won't tempt fate to say I know the future
I hope I know everything will be OK
The person I needed the most to get me through
was patiently waiting for me to awake from this nightmare
Its rare to see someone genuinely feeling happy for you
At least I know in you I have a friend.
