Delicacies

Luscious strawberries
along with grapes from the vine
bring to face a smile

Assortments of chocolate
also make one feel divine

Though nothing beats warmth
from a sweet lover's embrace
to invigorate

Be it June or December
in any form of weather

Well there's quite a choice of delicacies to choose from. Can go a few ways with this, so I would say someone knows what kind of writing I like. Nicely done. Thank you for entering and good luck. Storm

    *eye-rolls*

I'm listening to that "farting" song...to be fair, it's a synthesized fart...Money Honey by Lady Gaga
    w00t

So anyways...I will make an attempt at seriousness in "analyzing" your poem.

    "Luscious strawberries
along with grapes from the vine
    bring to face a smile"
    HELL YEAH!!
Apparently puppies can't have grapes or raisins...I wonder about strawberries, what with the seeds & shit...I like this fruitiness.

    "Assortments of chocolate
    also make one feel divine"
Shit yes...Godiva chocolates? Those cost like $100...LMAO okay that was an exaggeration, but yeah. The divinity is in MONEY, not fucking Jesus.

    *is not being very PC*

    "Though nothing beats warmth
    from a sweet lover's embrace
    to invigorate"
This is where my eye-rolls are getting handy.

    "Be it June or December
    in any form of weather"
Okay, that is a groovy ending. It's unique, probably true, and very well...AWESOME.

This kinda reminds me of "Words only flutter so deep/dependent on weather", or whatever the hell that line was in our first collab.

    Very very cool.

It's always friggin rainin' in Vancouver!
    Meh...

    I liked this. It's smile-inducing.
    All that fuckin food...

    *has met quota for swearing*

I really should stop swearing on comments for your poems...LMAO

Yeah I am going to have to adjust to the rain thing in the Seattle area.

      Thanks for the comment.

      I don't mind swearing.

Swear words are kind of a perception, aren't they? All words are perceptions to represent something...*gets all deep*

        Umbrellas are so kick-ass!!!
