What is it about a kiss
that invigorates the heart
while filling the soul with bliss?
The tenderness of its touch
eludes to intimacy,
a closeness we crave so much.
It is how we convey love,
igniting the desires
and passions poets speak of.
As a sexual embrace
it transforms reality,
bending the fabric of space.
Healing hurts with its magic
it makes small pains go away
and bigger ones less tragic.
A sensual soft caress
that physically imbues
feelings you cannot express.
A kiss is a promise made,
a show of sentiment and
an emotional band-aid.
A personal connection
moist lips pressed against hot flesh,
in a pledge of affection.

Hard to say in truth for a kiss is just a kiss flamed in love not a peck.

That's true. Kisses always make things better. Good depiction of an old favorite American pasttime.
