Option 1.) Write a poem about a contest that features many options all labeled "Option 1.)". This option must be a rhyming poem.
Now there's a name I recognise ~
a challenge no doubt set,
so here I am to pit my wits ~
work up a mental sweat.
The smorgasbord of choices has
me foaming at the mouth,
and any hopes of triumph are now
heading quickly south.
Which option should I go for? Which
decision would be best?
The option that I opt for must be
better than the rest.
Oh dear! I'm all a-dither and I'm
sure I'll be outdone...
perhaps I'll stick with caution and just
stay with Option One!

I loved this! Your sense of humor was spot-on as usual!

I liked this one too, clever and rhythmical

Ah the teeth grinding 'foaming' indecision known to us all, at least you stayed with it and are not,,, long gone,,, good flow and rhyme an excellent start to my day.
I love humour in poetry, (just found a book on Pam Ayers,)

Haha, it's been a while since I enjoyed one of your humorous pieces, but I came across one a few minutes ago and after enjoying that one found my way to this one. The poem is funny, and your rhythm and rhyming is always great. Best of luck in the contest.
