In reclined leather sit
a peaceful hour to commit.
Engaged in nothing at all,
simply letting moments fall.
Heartbeats slowing the tattoo,
taking stalk of me and you.
In this moment I reflect,
finding in you; my respect.

Very nice setting in the first stanza, a couple that don't need to be "doing" to be together, and enjoying it.
Resting hearts, slowing in beat, as the mind dreamily contemplates. How pleasing that reflection, when it finds respect both for and from one's spouse!

"Reflect" rhyming with "perfect" The accents are on opposite syllables.
It's also not really in meter, sorry.
