Spring brings a gentle sprinkle
fresh, and cool and clean,
drops that water flowers,
fill the lakes and streams.
Summer and the tropic storms
deposit a deluge,
sometimes it rains for hours,
the inch count can be huge.
Fall rains are swift and cool
blown by autumn winds,
sweet relief from summers heat,
I wish they’d never end.
Winter brings a different rain
touched by an icy chill,
rain, that forces me to watch
from the window sill.
Each rain is awesome and
unique to its own season.
You ask me why I love the rain,
but there’s more than just one reason.
I love it ‘cause it brings life,
renews and refreshes,
and shows us a power that
can make us count our blessings.

Mysterious
I saw this contest! I only had a PW so didn't go in.
This is a rare poem describing rain at different times of the year. Here in Nevada we have not gotten much rain this year. Actually I've only seen it rain for 15 minutes
this year, and the ground is so hot it is dry in 15 more minutes. No witnesses!LOL
Best of luck in this contest Mysty! Unique and done well!

I like the way you've handled the rain in different seasons. Nicely structured, with good rhyme and near-rhyme in equal measure.
Good work,
Bill
