Shimmer distant light,
that shall guide the sailors way,
in the darkness of the night,
in the deep blue ocean sway.
A glimmer of hope,
when weather has become foul,
when it is so hard to cope,
and the winds begin to howl.
A guiding star,
brings relief to weary eyes,
a twinkle from afar,
under stormy dark skies.

What wonderful flow and rhyme you have penned. This sounds lovely when read outloud. A beautiful poem. A pleasure to read this Sunday morning. Thank you for entering. Best of luck. Sandy
