Dared to dream

I dared to dream and I found you,
Alone with no-one to talk to.
People had left your side,
And called you a freak behind your back.
I dreamed it possible that we would live together
As man and  wife.
I kept closing my eyes and you would appear
Taking my hand, let me know that everything would be
Alright.
Even though we have our medical issues,
My dream has come true.
I am here with you.
