The pain that starts
with a sharp stab
in the left temple
always the left.
And then drips down
into my eyes, my bones,
into my neck, my muscles
and finally pooling
into the back of my skull
slowly my body stiffens
and it becomes increasingly more
painful to move.
then soon, the aching graduates to throbbing.
Like a heartbeat,
the pain subsides, and fluxes
subside, flux
subside, flux.
then the muscles in my chest
turn to lead
and I can't breathe
I can't..
I can't breathe..
I can't breathe..
The world fades
slowly
turning grey around the edges
Are my eyes closed?
I can't remember.
It hurts to think.
the darkness comes
I'm light as a feather
floating.
and the pain
is gone.

I wanted it out.
It a piece of shit, but I wanted it out of my head.
I can't have any thoughts rolling around in there right now.
I hurt everywhere.
