A Lighthouse

I see a single light
From the Lighthouse on the shore
I know it will be guiding
All ships forevermore

It is a beacon in the dark
It's light gives off warm glows
Sending comfort to those at sea
Saying my eye will keep you safe you know

The Lighthouse is a haven
To all who are lost at Sea
Bringing them safely in
Hearing their distressed plea

The Lighthouse is still standing
A Sentry in the night
It's beacon will safely lead you
To the shore and a friendly light
