Hue of orange
please don’t judge me
Colors purple green and blue
let me think alone in peace
Splashing water churn my thoughts
churn my thoughts
and help me sleep tonight
Crumbling staircase
you are my only friend
I love you lonely lighthouse
tall and proud
To think you never droop
when no one is around
You know what it’s like to be unloved
So share with me your secrets
And be my fortress

Wow! Good poem. Love the lonely lighthouse who is tall and proud - it knows what it's like to be unloved. Very good point of view and very good thoughts and feelings.

A lovely poem you have penned. Yes, there is something quite lonely about a lighthouse that brings our own lonelines to the fore-front of our minds. Thank you for entering. Best of luck. Sandy
