Apple Pie

Missing image
Seeing that apple on the tree,
I’ll have none of you pie.
Knowing what you’ve got up your sleeve,
I do not want to die.

You say that it’s not poison
and our punishment’s not death.
But I can hear the serpent’s tail,
he waits with baited breath.
