The Race

Handsome horses hanging heads,
Ripping and roaring, ready to run!
People pacing, picking preferred,
Choosey choices, chancing all!
Gun goes off - going, going gone!
Watching, waiting, wailing and waving,
Dirty dust dancing down the track.
Steamy steeds stormin’ past stretch!
Greedy gamblers gloat to gang.

I love your use of alliteration. It's really cool.
