No Time for Losing

Summer’s rain –
Soft whispers gently
Falling to my face;
Reminder of God’s Grace.

To sense such beauty –
Darkness slowly fades
Welcoming clarity inside;
A long lost friend.

Even if momentarily –
The vision set in
No time for losing;
Much has been lost.

For He has my purpose –
An empty shell now willing
Ready to meet the world;
Renewed with hope.

Author notes

My inspiration was my severe depression. I've suffered from this almost my entire life. My poetry is mostly dark, so I decided to try my hand at something uplifting and this was my very first piece of inspirational poetry. I basically said to myself, " I have no time for losing" and that became my title. Please enjoy it.

    Excellent, it was good, it was god, but it wasn't cliche.
    One always seems to appreciate god when they learn a very important lesson about themselves. I have recently come to appreciate my life after messing it up and not appreciating it, therefore falling down time and time again.
