Busy cleaning every day
I don't get credit, I don't get pay
Dusting, mopping, cooking a meal
I'm not making a fib, this is all real
Dishes in the sink ready to clean
vacuming finshed, well, it seems
Until one spills the juice and one's in the tub
busily scubbing rub a dub dub
Dishwasher loaded and laundry hung up
Time to cook dinner time to eat sup
Clean the toilet and wash out the sink
Tuck kids into bed and get them a drink
This is how mom's day sometimes goes
When I'm not in trouble or one of her foes!
'Cause then I do it!
Author notes
For a contest
Humorous about how my mom's days go when I'm not helping her
She never makes me do it all, but I like to help her and watch her hustle and bustle and get everything done within the short daytime!
