The Lord has seen the sorrow
and heard the women cry,
at the hands of an abuser
broken hearted women die.
The wickedness of abusive men,
all those with evil ways,
the pain goes up to God
when her broken heart prays.
It puts a man to shame
if he badly treats his wife,
a kind and gentle heart
will spare a woman's life.
Show her some respect,
try to understand her needs,
a man can be a saint
by doing righteous deeds.
