Floating on a dandelion
The whispered breeze of dawn
A tiny little fairy
Awoken by the morn
Fluttering her silken wings
She stretches to the sky
And leaps onto a flower bud
As she was drifting by
Satin, velvet, silken soft
A flower born in dew
Glimmering beneath the sun
For all around to view
And with her tiny little arms
The fairy opens wide
The delicate new petals
So we can see inside
Deep within the soft embrace
of petals born anew
Tiny little pollen puffs
Glimmering with dew
Carefully, she takes a few
and blows them in the air
Another flower will be born
because of fairy care
