...getting carried away...

...It's like seeing
something from the corner of
your eye...

just out of your vision...
to truly understand you must be
drenched in the culture
and the life ...

transliteration is tedius
and so much of the subtle inflection
and imaging is lost,

for there is no equal spoken
or written word to be used
in some cases...

I think it is why
I 'feel' so much of the life
I realise...

I realise(without understanding) life
but there is a sense
that I am missing so much...

to have another from that culture
to help me makes comprehension better,
but still not perfect...

and for me that is the beauty...
to keep seeking to understand,
to keep reaching out...

getting carried away...

Well...I can't follow Sol's comment with anything worthwhile so I'll just say I love this...yes, can relate to it perfectly. You've written it beautifully, and I love the last line....getting carried away.

    Perfect.

a true piece of this life is summed up and that task is very much impossible sometimes because life does not allow us to sum it up....well done...

...a single moment, perhaps...but you are so very right...life is living and moving and constantly shifting...impossible to sum it all up...I love your comment, Prabhu...thank you. Peace, Rhonda

I do love the sentiment that rides throughout this write.

Humility, yes but not necessarily a lack of dignity in the face of others, from what ever walk they are. To me it points towards coming to realise that 'you don't have to know' anything, that is, nothing but what it is that we are already 'drenched' in. Beyond culture, religion, creed or tradition, even though these can help provide a 'body of knowledge', it is surely a love of the Truth which is followed and admired in those who consciously make or are making a journey. A taste for the Real, a demanding hunger from the heart which is necessarily addressed when we are hungry enough to be awake to it. The real 'understanding' is to literally 'stand-under' that deep sentiment, in which the questioning and answering will take place according to its condition, whether the desire be intense or more dispersed and so on. The teacher is already in us along with an already knowing 'substance'.

I believe that what is seen from the corner of the eye can be followed and sought, until the point that its quality is emanating from the middle of the heart. This is the movement that I feel reflected in this here, this 'sentiment' for beauty and I just can't help but feel an enthusiasm of pouring out for it. Please forgive me if it's running away some.

... and yes let it carry away, but with a foot on the ground also.

    Your brother
    Sol
