Under a deserts sun theirs nothing but you and him up above,
And today I’m the only one wishing for a cloud to swallow him up,
Nothing but sky as far as the eyes can see all but a barren sky,
Every minute, then every hour slams the suns rays down on me.
Just for a second only you and I will ever know,
Could you maybe step aside and let the cloud man go,
Go on through for I feel some sort of relief,
The sun burns my hope like a torch to an autumn leaf,
The skies used to rumble and roar back home,
Lightning scatters and shatters the clouds across the skies,
Always alone inside my head my best friend comes around,
And tries to comfort me with torrential rain to soak this town,
I swallow it I need more to get me through today,
I can’t feel you but I know your love when I see it,
It’s too much for me I need to just let it go and breathe,
The storms on the brink of ending it all, I can’t hold it much longer,
Nothing strongholds my heart like a powerful storms silent approach,
The sky’s blue surrenders to the darkest clouds on the prowl,
Such beauty is stupefying shrinking me down to a little roach,
So humbling, surrendering to myself I’m breathe less and stunned ,
A reflection of my chaotic minds rage,
It’s been such a long sunny day I need to vent,
I need the clouds fallout before I walk on stage,
It’s making me sick missing you and your rain,
,
