The apple fell from her hands
as she hit the ground
Pure as snow
and cold to the touch
Death becomes you
my beautiful princess
Will she ever rise
from this terrible fate
Snow White, has lost it all
the poisonious apple caused her
To fall, and through the veil
you can see the tears
The seven dwarves are in a mess
for the loss of their dear
Princess, who is quite dead
and no one can save her now
Pure as snow
and cold to the touch
There's nothing left
of the Snow White we used to know

Great literal take on the prompt. Things dont always work out "happily ever after" It's about time she got hers!! Well done, best of luck...Scott

This is fabulous, what a great metaphorical take on someone we all know and love, life is just like Forrest Gump says, like a box of chocolates, we never know what we will get.... I hope life is kinder to you than to Snow White. Thank you for commenting on my words.I appreciate it!

Beautiful ending to the poem. I really enjoyed reading this, a lot. I am glad you took it quite literally and spoke about the dwarfs and all that, great job

Thanks tones for entering!!
