Thoughts

In the mind of their own
Thoughts sway in the winds
Through the day work hard
Night brings a little rest
But don’t be fool
For they cook up some dreams

In the comfort of mind’s maze
They travel in luxury
Poking the nerves
Sliding down the lanes
Knocking at the doors
At every corner of brain

Confusion is the motive
Stress is work
Multiplication is home
From weird to spooky
From sad to happy
Thoughts dress up to walk the ramp
Giving a run to brain cells for their money

Nothing makes sense
Logic comes to play
Senseless sentences form a pack
Thoughts living in kid’s world
Finally gets a learner’s permit

Few years of crawling
Growing up to be toddler
Follows agonizing adolescent years
Before the ships sails into reality
Walking up the ladder
Thoughts well trained
Finally graduate into the twisted world

Thoughts, class of their own
As twisted as a politician
Burst of innocence
Sparkle of intelligence
Sprinkle of craziness
Topped with numbness

Every turn, every corner
They squeeze into the shapes
They stay here
They’re found there
They live everywhere
Within the confinement of our mind
They dwell with no fear

You know, a very wise friend of mine once said, that sometimes we don't have to have a reason to come up with pieces that are a bit off beat, but this one, with all the diffferent stages, is amazing!

    and love
