My Nights Sky

It seems as though this darkness is being slow to pass and so I begin counting the stars. Each one I number twinkles back at me as though they have recognized my voice once again. When I get to feeling this way I peer between the twinkles and look boldly into the night sky. For there is nothing else I can look upon and see all my dreams, for all other objects just seem to block my view. I can be anyone I want to be when I glare into the vast of eternity and be anywhere that is desirable to my soul. It has been said the sky is the limit, but my limits rise far above the sky of this humanly earth. For my ski is the nights sky because it prevails so much that I can barely retain all the wondrous glory. And there, when looking into it, I can feel it looking back at me saying these stars I hold; I hold for you.

thought provoking poem with the feel of destiny's call in it. Many times I've laid back to count the stars with my hopes and dreams and wonderment. I thank you for sharing this with me...
