I Curse Myself

Desperation hits me

like an arrow

straight through the heart

I feel exhausted

like I have climbed forever

only to find myself

being sucked back in

for all of my faults

every immoral thought

I curse my own being

I feel so lost and alone

knowing that I deserve this

I feel that this is a write that many can relate to, I know that I can. I've felt like this more often that not. Your interpretation of the prompt is a very sad one, but as I just stated many can relate.. Excellent take on the prompt and on your poem.

    good luck in the contest

It seems the picture and the title both, fit this peice very well. I curse myself a lot too, for my own faults, stupid moments, mistakes, and well, when I'm angry and have stubbed my big toe on the dang corner of the wall again. Great write Jeremy.
