A Better View

I climb down the stairs to see the river
I walk along the edge
I want to jump in and swim in the river
surrounded by trees
When I look in the river
and see my reflection of myself and the trees.

I go up the stairs and see a tree,
it has a ladder on it.
I could climb up imagine how much I could see.
I would see the lake and everything around it.

Seems like a good time
and a great place to get a better view.
if the ladder is not hard to climb.
that would be a beautiful picture and what I should do.

    Awww this is beautiful

    I love the imagery here. I almost wanted to go climb that ladder myself. EXCELLENT.

    Climbing that ladder would give a better view, you are so right and you were able to see a beautiful journey in this image. You have some very amazing ideas in this poem. I like it. The places I would go....
